Hello! I’m Jenny. I'm a pusher for the user.

I'm a designer in my hometown, Los Angeles. My current focus is on web and interaction design, though I've dabbled in video editing, graphics and print design. I strive to make interfaces easier to use while creating a balanced blend of information flow and aesthetic appeal.

I received my B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction from University of California, San Diego. I'm a strong advocate of user-centered design and improving the interactions between people and the products they use. I'm fascinated by the process of how stuff works and have come to be. I'm especially interested in the details of human behaviors -- from their thought processes within to the interactions with others and the artifacts in the environment. I aspire to do more user research, experience and interaction design.

I believe in collaboration. I participated in the 2011 Walt Disney Imagineering ImagiNations Competition. Though our team didn't place, it was a great opportunity to work on a creative project after graduating. I am also a student volunteer (SV) for ACM SIGGRAPH; I’m looking forward to my fourth SV experience at SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 in Hong Kong.

I'm a life lover. I believe in constantly learning, asking questions, being curious, new opportunities, and exploring the world. I enjoy cooking, baking, hiking, biking, boardgames, stories, traveling, and people!
